I absolutely love cover songs, especially when the cover artist gives the song its own flair rather than simply redoing it (side note: this is particularly true when an artist turns a fast tempo song into an acoustic hit. Ok, so maybe Glee doesn't really count as a cover. It's more of a soundtrack/musical version. But, they're still turning classics into their own. And maybe this doesn't really count as a new discovery. Glee's version was released months ago when it aired on one of their episodes. And to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Rent. But, the awesomeness of Pandora played the original version of "Take Me Or Leave Me" and I feel in love. And then I heard Glee's version and I feel in love even more. And now, I can't seem to get it out of my head.
